The 31st Annual Shelter Island 10K Run is scheduled for June 19, 2010. The race benefits three local charities: East End Hospice, Timothy Hill Children's Ranch, and the Shelter Island Run Community Fund.
East End Hospice, in Westhampton Beach, has assisted thousands of
patients and their families during the final period of terminal
illness. Timothy Hill Children's Ranch provides assistance to hundreds
of at-risk adolescent boys placed by Long Island family courts, social
services, and juvenile justice authorities. The Shelter Island Run
Community Fund engages in a variety of charitable activities for the
benefit of Shelter Island residents and organizations.

We try to tailor the particular sponsorship category to the needs of
the sponsor and work closely with each sponsor to plan the event. Our
years of experience makes the weekend a relaxing and fun one for
sponsors, athletes and volunteers.
The Shelter Island 10K is legendary for it's Olympians and elite
runners from around the world. This year we anticipate 1500 runners and
a good battle in the Elite Division.
